Grammy Blog

Photo: Laurette Carrier
Location: Lawrence, MA (2002)

This is Grammy, Scott's grandmother. I just love her and I thought I should post about her. I get to see her in a few days. I especially love this picture of her visiting our 11th story apartment in Lawrence, MA a few years ago.

She's so cute and kind. She gives unconditional love like no one I know. Sometimes she says the funniest things and cracks us up. She volunteers in a food pantry and helps to take care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. She is a special lady, but sometimes she forgets. I hope she remembers this time. Everyone needs a Grammy in their lives and I am glad I got one when I married Scott. We
adore her.

Kisses!

Nice post. This picture was taken on the day Grammy made her first visit to Don and Tom's house after visiting our apartment. Aunt Dolly was also with us that day. That was a good day!

I love grammys, nannies, grandmas, grandmothers, and mimis. Beebe says that I am going to be a "mimi" when my kids have kids. My kids have had both their nanny and grandma visit over the past few days.

You are right Karin. Your kids are so lucky. I love grandparents. I was really sad when my grandma Yeagley died this spring. She lived a long time, but it didn't make it any less sad for me.
