Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend

Well, probably not. But today, after being at church for about an hour I realized I was wearing my mother's diamond earrings, Scott's uncle's mother's pearls, my great aunt's garnet ring, a silver Celtic ring made by my own uncle, and the watch Cousin Liz made me. I guess I was paying homage to everyone I love by wearing their things. It's a little thing, but I can't believe I picked all that subconsciously this morning. I'm not sure what to make of all that. It worked with my outfit though. I'd like to think I made Isaac Mizrahi proud, since I was wearing his dress.

What? You don't wear the ring I got you in London on the things by people I love day? I guess I am not loved :(

I thought about it, but it would have been too many rings. I wear it other times.

Didn't think to take one. I came home from church and poured myself into PJs, as is my post-church custom.

That is very sweet. Makes me want to go look through the jewlery box sitting up on a safe shelf in my closet to see what I might wear next Sunday.
