Sometimes Our Country Is Just Too Big

I say this only because there are days when I wish that all the really cool places that my family lives were right next to each other. Is it lame to say I miss my mom and dad? They love where they live and I love where I live and you could never convince either of us to move where the other one lives. But I miss my mom and dad.

I know being sick makes it worse, but really I just like them. They're fun and they're nice and they do things for me. I got to see them a little over a week ago for a few short hours, but my meds made me a zombie so I didn't quite get to enjoy them to the fullest. Dad will be here in October for the fake-Thanksgiving festivities, but still, I'd rather go on a daddy-daughter date whenever I feel like it. Plus we do cool projects together. Okay, Phil and I do cool projects together too, but I think she would agree that they are better when Dad helps.

I miss my mom and dad. Don't you?

I could be convinced to move where they are. I would just need a very high paying job since the cost of living is so much higher.

Yes. Yes a lot. I love my folks, too. What's so great about California, except their whole lives are there? I'm with Phil, if it weren't so pricey . . . and I could bring my Carolina life with me . . .

I live somewhat near my parents but I could live farther away because then they would visit me. I think they like us more when we don't see each other every day.

California isn't THAT great but that is where Bryan's job is right now.
