Photo: Cousin Liz Age 6, and a Metaphor for her Attitudes About Life TodaySo who exactly is this Cousin Liz, cousin to the world, you ask? Well she isn't my cousin at all. She's Phil's husband, Dave's, cousin from Ohio. She lived with Phil and Dave for about a year or so, and now she lives closer to me with her little dog Sophie. Now she is an integral part of the gang. She's baby H's favorite, and baby Leah tolerates her about as well as she tolerates me. We're really glad she moved here.

- She CANNOT look at, or be in the presence of, any raw meats
- The Beatles and the Decemberists are her two favorite bands
- Her favorite colors to wear are teal and brown
- She is a hippy from the 90s, but with good hygiene
- She really hates for anyone to be in her personal space (Sophie, H, and her mother are excluded from her no hug/no touch policy, Coach Squirrel is not)
- She recently had lasers in her eyeballs to correct her vision, and now she has super powers
- She really prefers quiet, and we all know she wouldn't have lasted five minutes in the Yeagley house as a kid, but would probably do okay now
- Has a brother named Aaron, who is very nearly Jakey's twin
- Is a really good shopping buddy
- Has a real knack for gift giving
- Is the best personal librarian any person could hope to ask for (seriously, she has two degrees in English/Literature)
- Her favorite TV show is Carnival
- She is politically opposite of her cousin, and my BIL, Dave, which is lots of fun for the rest of us
- She is very creative and is the best person to have on your party planning committee, she gives Angela from "The Office" a run for her money

wow ali.....thanks for the great shout out! you make me sound way super cooler than i really am. my 30th birthday has been great thus far...most of all because i finally have the proof that i beat dave in who is the bigger "doctor who" fan.

liz doesn't give a crap if you have prostate cancer if your name is gary snider...and if that is in fact your name you shouldn't be crying on her mother's couch.
I love the yarn bows in Liz's hair. I wish she would do that now.

Yeah, Cousin Liz! And all the fun things I never knew about you before. Do you plan on joining a co-op like other hippies from the 90's? Or is it moving to? (however you say it) And I'm glad H has someone on his side on the east coast where you guys actually live!
