Poor Little Anita

My baby sister, who has a baby herself now, is soon getting on a plane to come visit us and the poor girl has the flu. Good thing it's a direct flight AND my house is clean. She's so looking forward to getting here, not so much to see me, but to hand her baby off so that she can go to bed. Poor little Anita. Being sick is the worst. Being sick on an airplane with an infant is horrific!

While being sick is the pits, I can't pity her too much, after all, she's coming on vacation to the best state in the nation containing some pretty fabulous hostesses.

It's only the flying we pity her for. We are the best hostesses. She knows that which I think is why she is still willing to get on that plane after throwing up.

Awww... she has my pity for sure. That is seriously one of my worst nightmares. I mean, flying while you're sick is ROUGH. And flying with an infant is VERY stressful. But the two combined? I can't even fathom it. I hope she gets there okay!

Here's hoping the little guy will sleep the whole way so Anita can just veg out for the cross-country flight.

She made it in one piece, baby and all. She was exhausted and nauseous, but Phil and I were more than happy to babysit little Rio. He and Leah are totally enamored of each other. It's cute!

(Plus we made her some homemade chicken and rice soup)

The best hostess EVER! (and I have experience with poor hosts!) Have fun with Anita!

I slept so solidly for three and a half hours that I didn't notice my son crying, or b-bean joining me for a nap or even the surroundings I was in. I did notice the bed, the sweet, sweet bed.
