Photo: Portrait of Baby Leah 6 1/2 MonthsI had a wicked case of insomnia twice in one week. No sleep at all the entire night last night. Hubby keeps asking me to refinish the floors if I'm gonna be up all night. When Leah arrived this morning my monkey brain was in full swing, so I decided to do an impromptu portrait photo shoot. The light was good, baby was happy, and as luck would have it, Daddy did well in his wardrobe choices this morning (in the past she's showed up wearing a dirty onesie, a teal baby scrubs shirt, and brown corderoy skirt). Unlucky for me, baby only slept for a little over an hour for her nap. Man am I wicked, wicked tired!

And while Miss Leah was a bouncing maniac, I caught up on some old videos and shot some new stuff. Kitty is perfectly willing to be in the same room as her because she isn't mobile yet, but her Johnny Jump-up scared the bajeebas out of him. He didn't want to get close.

And to all those distant family members of these two babies who have complained about lack of baby posts, please let this one appease you. One baby is laughing hysterically at Jack Jack's antics, while the other one is clearly indifferent to it all, even after a lick in the face.

While Auntie April is not getting a story about her adventures with these babies per se, she has had numerous adventures with Murphy when they were roomies one summer. They sang songs from Greece to each other about Summer Lovin' and broken hearts and stuff. I think they might have even worn matching pink nighties with curlers in their hair. Their adventures mainly included sleeping and eating spicy fries from Burger King. Get it your way, right away.
Poor little Jack, he lives at a new house now. His new owner says he's really happy, so hooray for that I guess.
