... it's also for younger ladies who want to pinch an inch off their middles (thighs, butts, and upper arms -- don't we sound like roast chickens?). I say thank goodness Cousin Liz lives at an apartment complex with two pools. They opened up over the holiday weekend, and we started making use of them this week. We've been in the high 90's, you know. Liz and I have been swimming in the late evenings when the kids are heading home and it's quiet.
Last night, while swimming laps, we decided to invest in some exercise equipment. We got a noodle, an American Gladiators bar bell, some balls and disks for the babies, but mainly foam dumb bells, a floaty waist belt thingy, and webbed gloves like a frog. Tonight we exercised for about an hour. Some exercises we did from actual aquarobics classes we've taken in the past, but some we just made up. We got quite a workout without putting strain on our bodies or getting sweaty (we both really hate to sweat).
I am so pleased, because this exercise program seems to work with my weird and restricting health issues. Hopefully Phil and Emily will join us too. Oh how I love to exercise like the old ladies do. It's good fun and good exercise.

Good job!
I love water aerobics! Beebe and I took classes regularly last year, but I really fell in love with it when I was big'n'pregnant with Dean. Me and 20 white-haired ladies. Good times.
You know I love swimmin'
Awesome! I've been trying to pinch some roast chicken off as well...My knees hurt from jogging the other day. I'm gonna try some water running.
I wanna exercise like an old lady with you :( Stupid living too far apart.
I do love aquarobics! I feel like I am (almost) in shape in those classes with all the srs. And it is easy to cheat when you are in the water and you can just bobble around and ask "How many more?" in a strained voice. I guess all alone these tricks wouldn't work as well. I don't know about it outside of an organized class. Let me know how long you guys keep it up. That'll be inspiring to me.
